Our charcoal briquettes are better suited to BBQ grills or smokers that need something that'll burn for longer and take a little more time to come up to temperature, whilst also holding their heat for a greater period of time. They’re perfect for when you want to cook your barbecue items low and slow or if you’ll be cooking a higher quantity of items.

They are made of different shapes and sizes. This is a big advantage because the smaller cubes ignite in a very short time, sometimes as early as 4 mins. They also burn at very high temperatures that help the bigger and thicker briquettes to ignite much faster. The combination allows for longer burn time and high temperatures at the same time. This is a first in the charcoal briquette segment.

    Why Choose Bushfired Charcoal Briquettee

    OUR STORY
We love the planet and we love our people. This guides our activities and products. Our charcoal briquettes are perfect for both barbecuing and smoking because our long charcoal briquettes take longer to come up to temperature while also being able to hold their heat for longer.

HOW TO USE BUSHFIRED LONG CHARCOAL BRIQUETTES FOR SMOKING
Prepare your charcoal and consider adding something that will add flavour to the food. A good option here would be wood, like cedar or hickory, or a manmade seasoning. We strongly using Chimney BBQ Starters for lighting the briquettes with the smaller cubes placed first then bigger pieces on top. Once lit and red hot, use the 'burn-down' method. You should fill the entire barbecue grill bed with unlit charcoal and then add a couple of lit pieces on top. They will slowly burn down and light the pieces placed below them. Once burned down, you should add more briquettes in order to maintain the temperature that is ideal for smoking, sitting at around 95 to 115°C.

TAKE YOUR BBQ GAME TO THE NEXT LEVEL
Bushfired charcoal briquettes are perfect for smoking ad when you need to cook larger qualities of food. Our charcoal is free from any nasty additives and this means that you won't need to worry about any unnatural or foul-smelling notes that could impact your food.

    Much longer burn time.

Tried these out alongside some regular briquettes from supermarket, must admit I will be using these from now on.
    Love them.

    Best Briquets by far!

These are the best we have ever used. They are easy to light, give out loads of heat, and seemingly burn forever. We are sad that we have nothing left to cook. It will be different, however, as we will soon be doing steak for six, and we know that one little chimney full will cope easily!
